PSD’s have the below characteristics:

a. They receive orders only from the Operation room Supervisor.
b. They clearly recognise their role and duties.
c. They always behave as PSD’s, with professional appearance, discretion and expertise.
d. They respect the rules and the laws of the country that they are operating in.
e. They have professional behaviour, (not too close relations with the client, only professional contact), throughout all the tasks.
f. They are familiar with the weapons they use (7,62*39 / 7,62*51 / 5,56*45 / 9mm)
g. They have strong Army background.
h. They have deployments in war zones.
i. They are familiar with all the special operating procedures.
j. They have knowledge of CQB tactics.
k. They speak English.
Duties:
a. Primary objective is the safety and security of the clients, throughout all movements.
b. Familiarization of the area, routes and venues. Client preferences always adhered considered
c. Familiarization with the Nationalities and habits of the population in the country that they operating in.
d. Choose the correct equipment for each deployment.
e. Route planning, primary, secondary and tertiary
f. Recognition and marking of the danger areas.
g. First person on scene first aid capability.
h. All the team have been operating together, for more than one year.
i. Visual confirmation at the EMBUS of the client.
j. Visual confirmation at the DEBUS of the client.
